Utah Jazz forward Jaren Jackson Jr. will miss the rest of the season due to surgery to remove a growth in his left knee, as announced by the team. The growth, identified as pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS), was discovered during an MRI after his trade from the Memphis Grizzlies. Jackson, a two-time All-Star, is expected to recover in time for training camp. He averaged 22.3 points in three games with the Jazz before the diagnosis.
